Where to Find the Most Beautiful Street in Paris

Yes, there is a “most beautiful street in Paris.” If you have your heart set on finding the best photography spots in Paris, France, then you need to read about my all-time favorite street in the city. It is extremely easy to find in the heart of Montmarte and will end up being one of your best (if not THE best) photos from your trip.

To find the location of this amazing street, you first need to head to La Maison Rose Cafe. Within just a few steps of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, this pink pastel building is a famous landmark in Montmartre.

After snapping photos of this gorgeous cafe, walk down Rue de l’Abreuvoir to the left of the La Maison Rose. If you’re traveling in the spring, you will find purple wisteria – which smell glorious – along the walls of this road. Take a few seconds to photograph and smell the natural beauty.

Continue walking down Rue de l’Abreuvoir, past all of the amazing flowers, until you hit the bottom of the downhill road. Turn back around to where you just walked from (La Maison Rose Cafe), and congratulations – you have now spotted the best street view in all of Paris!

From this angle you will see La Maison Rose Cafe, the beautiful dome of Sacré-Cœur Basilica, and other Parisian architecture. Hopefully you will have visited Sacré-Cœur earlier in the day.

Spend a few minutes taking in this view. Once you’re satisfied, grab your camera and start shooting away! My patience was tested while waiting for all of the pedestrians to get out of the middle of the road. I couldn’t be too mad, though. A few minutes prior I was literally doing the same thing! For this photograph (that I had been dreaming of for months), I wanted as few people as possible. Waiting for the people to pass made all the difference. It truly is the most beautiful street in Paris.

Discovering this spot during research prior to the trip was exciting, but finally seeing it in-person was a moment that I will never forget.
